Japanese Weirdness

Digg had two interesting stories relating to Japan recently. The first is about a book written by a former high-level journalist who believes he’s identified hundreds of kilometers of tunnels beneath Tokyo that no one will admit exist.

And on the socially disturbing side, here’s a clip from a documentary about Japanese male “hosts,” who are essentially male geisha. These guys work at high-end ladies clubs and make upwards of $50K per month.

O'Reilly: Lesbo Gangs With Pink Pistols

Yes, this is true. Bill O’Reilly is now warning America about gangs of lesbians who carry pink pistols and rape young girls. He says, “I never thought of this. It makes sense that if you had lawless gay people that they would do this kind of thing.”

Here’s Olberman talking about it.

And here’s the clip from O’Reilly along with further evidence that he’s insane, and that Fox News should be renamed Fox Weekly World News (and they should talk more about aliens). I’m just amazed that we live in a country where a major cable news network reports this nonsense as real news.

More Pat Tillman Revelations

I feel terribly for Tillman's family. This just isn't right, for example:

Army attorneys sent each other congratulatory e-mails for keeping criminal investigators at bay as the Army conducted an internal friendly-fire investigation that resulted in administrative, or non-criminal, punishments.

The three-star general who kept the truth about Tillman's death from his family and the public told investigators some 70 times that he had a bad memory and couldn't recall details of his actions.

Where You Been?

Writing, though not for work so don't get too excited. Amanda and I have begun collaborating on a project and Eric and I have been writing shorts based on prompts we pull out of our keesters. I'm glad to be doing it, but with the kids and work it hasn't been easy. Still, I'm generally happy with the results thus far.
