Too Much Charity

We've all heard that too much of a good thing isn't, but I hadn't seriously considered it when it came to charity until reading these two articles today. I remember watching Live Aid, yet Africa remains mired in poverty, and by some estimation has gotten worse, and there's a growing consensus that too much aid contributes heavily to the problem.

This doesn't mean we sit on our asses or worse yet join the ranks of the Right wing talk listeners who pick up the phone so they can bash "do gooders" (Listen to those and you'll hear it, like I did). This means we give smarter, such as to microlenders.
